ABOUT

Join us in Hungary to discover the unique volcanic wine regions of this historic wine producing nation. Hungary boasts a rich and diverse wine culture with several distinct regions producing high-quality wines, the most famous if which is Tokaj, world famous for its high quality sweet wines. Look forward to state of the art vineyard and winery tours and tastings during Hungary's late harvest, fine dining and daily bespoke food and wine pairing events.

Tokaj is a UNESCO world heritage site and its unique microclimate and volcanic soil create ideal conditions for noble rot, which is essential for producing these exceptional dessert wines and also producing very good dry wines, especially from the Furmint grape variety.

In northern Hungary, Eger is known for its red wines, most notably Egri Bikavér (Bull's Blood of Eger), a blend of several grape varieties. Hungary's wine regions are diverse, with varying climates and soil types, resulting in a wide range of wine styles.
